Thanks so much for the mention!
We are totally stoked to be on the streets of Victoria and we look forward to introducing people to the many variations of perogies (and dont forget delicious Two Rivers sausages). We are also variable for catering!
Thanks again,

Most of the stores at uptown are over priced other than Wal-mart.... They need to bring a H&M and Forever 21 to uptown!!!! Also so far parking is a pain makes me stay away.

There were a few places missing, for instance Fifth Street Bar and Grill has the cheapest pints (Canadian) in Victoria, depending on when you go (usually about $4 for the Blue Buck on Monday, it changes depending on when you go, I think they have shots of Jager for $4 on Friday's for instance). Also, Cenote on Yates has a deal on British pints of beer, $5 during the hockey playoff's. I know I'm missing a few places. In any case...

Have you ever tried the poutine at the Salty's on Shelbourne Street? They make a "montreal-style"! :-) If that's what you used to have out east I suggest you try theirs.

I am someone who hates shopping downtown! I can hardly wait until more shops open at Uptown as I do like shopping there already. I don't find the parking as difficult as others seem to. It is no worse than driving downtown and trying to find a space and then paying for parking! I also love that it is in Saanich!

Hi Aimee,
It is hard to find cowboy boots in Victoria, as there are no dedicated Western wear retailers anymore. You might try the local consignment and vintage stores. From time to time, I have seen men’s cowboy boots at the downtown Salvation Army store, Value Village, Out of the Closet Renew Boutique, and The Patch on Yates.
If you're willing to make a trip over to Vancouver, Stampede Tack & Western Wear http://www.stampede.ca/ in Cloverdale apparently stocks “over 3,000 pairs of cowboy boots” in a 10,000 square foot showroom.
On Vancouver Island, The Equine Emporium http://www.equineemporium.com/index.html in Duncan supposedly sells Western wear. I can’t attest to that, personally, as I’ve never been.
Good luck with your shopping.
Cheers,
Anita

Looking for the pharmacy's phone number?
I've found the Victoria Walmart pharmacy's phone number hard to track down. And the store cannot transfer you to the pharmacy department if you call for the number. So I'll save you a step ... it is 250-475-7512.
