I’ve just learned that Victoria’s Royal BC Museum is offering admission by donation this week: January 2 to 9, 2013. The suggestion donation is $5. That’s a sizeable savings on the usual adult ticket price of $16.
The museum states online that regular admission includes access to feature exhibitions, so this is your chance to see the exceptional Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 show, which is currently on loan from the Natural History Museum in London. Below are just three of the glorious large-scale back-lit images you can see in the exhibit. There are 100 in all, selected from some 48,000 entries. Yeah. Wow.
